Americanized or Europeanized?
Do I see American sports becoming more Europeanized or the Western Sports progressively more Americanized? I believe everything depends upon making money. Personally i think if a sport is well-known then somebody will find ways to make money off of the sport. In the United States the four main sports are football, baseball, basketball, and hockey. Three main sports activities in the Euro culture happen to be soccer, cricket, and rugby. In my opinion the first sport that I can see becoming more and more well-known in America is usually Rugby. In my opinion I think that we like a culture have to do a better job of exposing the rugby, that i feel might be a great sport for us because Americans to get accustomed as well. Which American sports is there a chance i see progressively more Europeanized? My first response would have recently been football due to the fact in my opinion it is the best sport out of of them yet my rational answer is basketball. Hockey has become more popular in Europe and Asia in the past two decades then some other sport. The first non- American person drafted inside the...
