The knowledge technology can be undergoing a significant shift from personal computers in business and the home (platform-centric computing) to network calculating. Information " content” at this point can be produced across extremely heterogeneous global computing environment.[1] Because of increase in the information the potential market is not limited ever again by distances, whereas the former safe home markets is open to everybody. Because of that networked and extremely quickly flow of information the manufacturers have to guard survival with uncertain needs of marketplace, customer individualization, with new market traders and rivals. On the other hand, as a result of network computer capabilities producers are able much faster to offer new products and gratify those requirements in order to tolerate mass-customization developments in the market.

Protection organizations happen to be facing a similar challenges as civilian business do. The armed forces were designed to battle against potently known contrary forces (competitors) in potentially known environment and territory (market), keeping predesigned conflict scenarios with fairly forecasted consumption rates of materials (market demand) for predesigned size of causes (customer).
